The Maryland Department of the Environment (MDE) has contracted with the University of Maryland, through the Center for Integrative Environmental Research, to conduct an independent study of the economic and energy impacts related to Maryland’s potential participation in the Regional Greenhouse Gas Initiative (RGGI). An important part of this process is stakeholder input and we thank all of the individuals, business, nonprofit and government organizations who provided input as described in the stakeholder process section of this web site.
